Hello again! This week in card class, we made a few projects using the adorable RMHC stamp set, Sprinkles Of Life. This set is so cute, and it’s for a good cause too! For every set sold, Stampin’ Up! will donate $3.00AUD to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

For the first card, we heat embossed the ‘cloud’ shape on our card base of Basic Gray, using Versamark and Clear embossing powder. We also stamped the ‘Every cloud has a silver lining…’ stamp on a piece of Soft Sky cardstock with Versamark, and heat embossed with Clear emboss powder as well.

The front piece of Whisper White cardstock was lightly sponged with Soft Sky ink; and stamped with the raindrop stamp, using Versamark. This was then heat embossed with Silver embossing powder, and matted on a slightly larger piece of Basic Gray cardstock.

Two extra clouds were stamped. heat embossed, and punched out in the same manner; and adhered to the front piece. The envelope was also stamped and heat embossed with Silver embossing powder to carry on the theme.

The next card was a bright and happy friendship card, using Cherry On Top 6×6 DSP Paper Stack, and a fresh colour combo.

The card base of Cucumber Crush cardstock was embossed through the Big Shot using the Decorative Dots embossing folder. Two circles were punched from co-ordinating DSP patterns, using a 2″ Circle punch. A third circle was punched from Whisper White cardstock, using the 2-1/2″ Circle punch.

On a small piece of Cucumber Crush cardstock, we stamped the tree/shrub stamp, using Cucumber Crush ink. On a small piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, we stamped the tree; using Crumb Cake ink. These were then punched out using the Tree Builder punch. The inside of the card and envelope were also stamped with the tree.

A trio of flowers in Crushed Curry, Watermelon Wonder & Bermuda Bay cardstock, were punched using the Itty Bitty Accents flower punch. A medium rhinestone was placed in the centre of these.

On a small banner of Whisper White cardstock, the ‘I’m so lucky…’ stamp was stamped using Cucumber Crush ink. A smaller strip of Watermelon Wonder was also added. A strand of Whisper White Bakers Twine tied in a bow, finished the card off.

For the last project, we made a gift tag. A strip of 2″ Very Vanilla cardstock was punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch, and a loop of Mint Macaron Lace Ribbon was looped through and tied off.

On a small banner of Min Macaron cardstock, the ‘Money can’t buy happiness…’ stamp was stamped with Versamark; and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder. This was then adhered on the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The ‘basket’ stamp was stamped onto Crumb Cake cardstock using Crumb Cake ink. This was then hand cut with Paper Snips, and stuck down on the tag with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow). The ‘cloud’ shape was stamped onto Pink Pirouette cardstock with Versamark, and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder. The ‘sprinkles’ stamp was stamped with Versamark, heat embossed with Heat ‘N Stick powder; and heat embossed again with Dazzling Diamonds glitter. The top of the cupcake was raised up on the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the cherry on top, we covered an entire strip of Real Red cardstock with Versamark, and heat embossed the whole strip with Clear embossing powder. This was then used in the Tree Builder punch to make cherries. The cherry was then adhered to the top of the cupcake.

I hope I’ve inspired you with these projects – why don’t you have a go with this set? There’s so many fun combinations to try! ‘Til next time x
