Hello again! This weeks Just Add Ink challenge is a ‘Just Add H’ challenge.
I chose to use heat embossing and hearts. It’s funny, I hated heat embossing when I first started cardmaking (because of how much work was involved!), but I absolutely love doing it now. It adds such a lovely, interactive feel to cards 😊
For my creation, I used a card case of Crumb Cake. I gave a piece of Watercolor Paper a wash of ink using Powder Pink Ink and an Aqua Painter. I then stamped and heat embossed the floral heart from Sure Do Love You on Watercolor Paper and coloured it in with Aqua Painters and Flirty Flamingo, Berry Burst and Pear Pizzazz inks.
Once dry, I cut the heart out and layered a sentiment label stamped with Powder Pink over it. Clear sequins finished the card off.
Thank you for popping in to have a look at my creation this week. Don’t forget to pop over to Just Add Ink to take part in #JAI397 too. ‘Til next time x

So pretty Rachael! Your soft water colour background means the vibrant flowers inside your heart really pop and I love how yo’ve carried one over on top of you banner too! xx
