Hello everyone! I’m popping in today to share my creation for Colour INKspiration‘s #CI75 challenge – using the colours Daffodil Delight, Call Me Clover, Gorgeous Grape, Melon Mambo and Mango Melody. Such a delicious, bright collection of colours.
I’ve been in a ‘creative funk’ since being stood down from my full-time job a few weeks ago, and this challenge was enough to get the old cogs in the brain turning – so thanks to the DT for the inspiration :)
For my creation, I used a card base of Thick Whisper White. I decided on a simple, gradient sponged panel on the card front. I used Post-It notes to mask the panel, as the adhesive is more gentle on thick Whisper White card.
Once finished, I flicked water droplets on the sponged area for a faux bokeh effect. I then stamped and heat embossed a floral image from Bloom & Grow, using Versamark and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
The card was finished off with a sentiment label, and assorted sequins.
Thank you for popping in to have a look at my creation.
‘Til next time x
