Hello again! Welcome back to another weekly class catch up. This week, we played with the bubble wrap technique – using bubble wrap to create some really wonderful backgrounds to our cards.
For the first card, we used Daffodil Delight ink with the bubble wrap to create a honeycomb effect on our card front. A bee image was stamped with Memento Black onto Shimmer Paper using Dragonfly Dreams; and coloured with Stampin’ Blends markers. On the card front, we also flicked ink from a Basic Gray Stampin’ Write marker.
On a strip of Basic Black card, we stamped and heat embossed a sentiment with Versamark and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The card was finished with Black Rhinestones.
For the second card, we used a card base of Crumb Cake, and used Whisper White Craft ink for a subtle stamped background. On an oval of Whisper White card, we stamped flower images from Flirty Flowers, using Blushing Bride and Pear Pizazz ink.
A banner of Blushing Bride card was stamped with a sentiment using Crumb Cake ink. The card was finished off with pearls and Linen Thread.
For the last card, we used a card base of Pool Party, The back ground was stamped with Pool Party ink. On Whisper White card, we stamped the flamingo, reeds and water images from Fabulous Flamingo. Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party were the inks used.
On a banner of Pool Party, we stamped and heat embossed a sentiment using Versamark and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Rhinestones, sequins and Silver Metallic Thread finished off the card.
