Hello again! Welcome to another weekly class catch-up. This week’s class was a 1 Set 3 Ways class, using Touches Of Texture.
For the first card, we used a card base of Pool Party. A card front of Pool Party was sponged around the edges with Crumb Cake , and stamped with an image from Touches Of Texture using Pool Party ink. Additional rough texture images were stamped with Pool Party ink also.
On an oval of Very Vanilla card cut with Stitched Shapes Framelits, we stamped the floral image with Archival Black ink. This was then coloured with Flirty Flamingo and Pool Party inks, using Blender Pens. A banner of Very Vanilla was stamped with the banner outline from Number Of Years, and cut with the co-ordinating Framelit. It was then stamped with a sentiment using Flirty Flamingo ink, from a retired stamp set called Morning Meadow. A bow of Linen Thread was adhered to the banner.
For the second card, we used a card base of thick Whisper White card. Using Daffodil Delight ink, we stamped the lace image on the card front. A strip of Daffodil Delight card, and a strip of the ombre Berry Burst Color Theory DSP were glued above the stamped image. On a circle of Watercolor Paper cut with Stitched Shapes Framelits, we stamped the large flower and stem images with Archival Black ink. This was heat set before lightly wetting with an Aqua Painter and stamped the flower filler image, which had been coloured with Berry Burst and Daffodil Delight markers.
A few loops of Black Metallic Thread were adhered to the card front with a Glue Dot, and the watercoloured circle was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the final card, we used a card base of Dapper Denim. On a card front of Whisper White, we stamped the floral image with Pear Pizzazz ink. This was filled in with the filler images, using Soft Sky and Dapper Denim inks. A splatter image was stamped over it with Crumb Cake.
A few loops of Silver Metallic Thread, a strip of Soft Sky ribbon, and a banner of Crumb Cake card stamped with a sentiment using Dapper Denim ink; finished off the card.
Thank you for popping in to have a look at our creations this week. ‘Til next time x
