Hello again! Welcome back to another weekly class catchup. This week, we played with the Shadow Stamping technique. We created 3 cards using variations of this technique.
The first card used Fresh Fig cardstock as the base. Using Flirty Flowers, we stamped floral images along the bottom of the card front. Once dry, we stamped the same images (but slightly offset) using a Stamp-a-Majig and Whisper White Craft ink. A sentiment was stamped on Whisper White cardstock using Fresh Fig ink. Silver Metallic Thread and rhinestones finished off the card.
For the second card, we used Pear Pizzazz cardstock. On Whisper White card, we stamped the fern image from Butterfly Basics repeatedly with Crumb Cake ink. We then stamped the same image again (slightly offset) with Vesamark, and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Once set, the card front was sponge daubed with Pear Pizzazz ink. A sentiment was stamped with Crumb Cake ink. We finished the card off with Basic Pearls and Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon.
For the last card, we used a card base of thick Whisper White. On 3 squares of Whisper White (cut with the 2nd smallest square framelit from Stitched Shapes Framelits), we stamped a floral image from a retired SAB set called Avant Garden; using Lemon Lime Twist, Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo ink. A sentiment was stamped with Memento Black ink, and the card was finished off with rhinestones.
Thank you for popping in to have a look at our creations this week! ‘Til next time x
