Hello again! I thought I’d pop in and show you all what we made in card class this week, using the Peaceful Pines stamp set & Perfect Pines Framelit bundle.
We made 3 cards, but I’ll just show one of the cards off in particular, because it was my favourite out of all 3. It is slightly CASEd off a gift tag design on page 16 of the Holiday Catalogue.
This card used a base of Soft Suede cardstock, stamped with the small snowflake stamp, using Versamark; which was then heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
Using the Sleigh Ride Edgelits, I cut a ‘snowy hill’ out of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. A medium-sized tree was cut from Red Foil Sheet. On a piece of Old Olive cardstock, I stamped a large tree with Old Olive ink; and cut the ‘holey’ detail, before cutting the tree out with the large tree Framelit. The Old Olive tree was layered ontop of the Red Foil tree, so the foil showed through.
A small banner of Whisper White card was stamped with a greeting, using Old Olive ink. The end was punched with a Hexagon punch. This was then adhered to the card with Multipurpose Glue, and the tree was stuck down with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The card was finished off with a few red sequins, leftover from the To You & Yours Shaker card kit.
