Hello! I’m popping in to show what we made in our card class this fortnight, using the Lift Me Up bundle. This is such a sweet balloon set, and I love using it for all sorts of occasions.

occ17_p10ainbetween lineFor our first card, we used a card base of Dapper Denim. Instead of using my usual Whisper White for the card front and card inner, we used Sahara Sand cardstock. The card front was stamped with the flourish and grid images from Timeless Textures, then we roughed the edges with Paper Snips. The two different balloon images from Lift Me Up were stamped randomly, using Marina Mist and Dapper Denim ink. On a separate piece of Sahara Sand card, we stamped some extra balloons using Dapper Denim and Marina Mist ink. These were then cut out using the matching Framelits, and adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The card front was then adhered to the card base with Dimensionals as well.

A small banner of Dapper Denim cardstock was stamped with a sentiment, using Whisper White Craft ink. Enamel Dots finished the card off. Here it is:

Using Smoky Slate, Soft Suede, Watermelon Wonder, Flirty Flamingo, and Blushing Bride cardstock, we cut the large balloon and all the infill pieces, using the Up & Away Framelits. The infill pieces were glued in place on the back of the large balloon diecut. A few clouds were cut using Whisper White cardstock, and adhered to the card front at different heights, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A few loops of Silver Metallic Thread were held in place on the card front with a Glue Dot, and then the balloon was adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
