Hello again! I’m taking part in a blog top today, to celebrate a good friend of mine, Kelly Kent, reaching her 5 year anniversary with Stampin’ Up!. What exciting news and it’s such a great achievement for her – well done Kelly! You’ve probably just come from the gorgeous Chloe Evans, or started here. Just click ‘Next Blog’ down the bottom to continue the hop :)
For my creation, I created a card and gift for Kelly, to congratulate her personally. For the card, I used Berry Burst cardstock, embossed a piece Whisper White card with the ‘Happy’ Celebrations Duo embossing folder, and stamped over it with a texture stamp from Touches Of Texture, using Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, and Berry Burst inks.
On some Basic Black, I stamped some words with Versamark using the Alphabet Rotary Stamp, and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The words were then fussy cut into strips. Some balloons were stamped on Whisper White with Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo & Berry Burst inks, using Balloon Celebration; then brushed over with clear Wink Of Stella once dry. These balloons were then cut out with the Balloon Bouquet punch. The card was finished off with sequins and rhinestones.
For the gift, I made a post-it note pocketbook. The base of this was Berry Burst cardstock, and on a piece of Whisper White, I stamped several balloons using Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo & Berry Burst inks. Once dry, I brushed clear Wink Of Stella over them. Out of Silver Glimmer Paper, I cut a number 5 using Large Numbers Framelits. Over this was a sentiment on a Basic Black banner, stamped and heat embossed again using the Alphabet Rotary Stamp, Versamark and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The post-it note pocketbook was finished off with sequins and rhinestones. As a side note – I bought these pens (Papermate Inkjoy Minis) online from a business called Mighty Ape. You can find them here.
Here are my finished creations!

Loving that cute notebook Racheal, lovely happy projects! Well done on not getting ink in the embossed grooves, for the life of me l try, but still l get it in there every time..:0( xx
I think juicy pads are the downfall of these folders Nikki! My ink pads sweat in winter and go very juicy; so I had to work the ink back into the pads with a spoon before stamping ;) xx
Stunning projects Rachael. I really love them all but the sticky note book is just adorable.
Thank you Lou xx
