Hello everyone! We are celebrating the awesome Kelly Kent’s birthday, by taking part in a blog hop today. Myself, along with 19 other Stampin’ Friends, are showcasing some lovely birthday themed projects on this Blog Hop. You’ve most likely arrived from Ine van den Eijnden, or you may have started here. Either way, come and join us on the creative hop to celebrate Kelly’s birthday! :D
For my creation, I made a card and covered notepad, using Sea Of Textures bundle. The card was a base of thick Whisper White, which I stamped the fishing net image on with Balmy Blue ink. I layered this with Vellum, and a circle of Tranquil Textures DSp, cut with Stitched Shapes Framelits.
The very cute octopus was sponged with Balmy Blue and Fresh Fig ink, and stamped on Shimmery White card, then die cut.
For the covered notepad, I used Tranquil Textures DSP to tone in with theme of the card.
I used diecut coral pieces from Fresh Fig card. I also cut the net die from Shimmery White card, trimmed it smaller; and sponged with Balmy Blue ink.
I had to finish off both projects with Iridescent Sequins – it’s the perfect way to add subtle bling! I even made a co-ordinating tag for the parcel, and recycled that lovely brown paper our Stampin’ Up! orders come packed with ;)
