Hello again! We are kicking off the first Just Add Ink challenge of the year with a blog hop, with a ‘Just Add Something New’ theme. You may have arrived here from Kim‘s blog, or you may have started here. Click on the ‘Next Blog’ button at the bottom of the post to continue the hop.
For my project, I used a new technique – eclipse. This is a new technique for me, one I haven’t tried before. I started with a card base of Basic Black, which I layered with some Basic Black DSP. On Watercolor Paper, I brushed over some Berry Burst ink with an Aqua Painter, then flicked ink from a Basic Black marker once dry. This was then diecut with Large Numbers Framelits. The whole piece was glued down on the card front, except for the numbers – these were raised up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The card was finished off with Berry Burst sequins from the Tutti Fruitti sequins pack in the 2018 Occasions catalogue; and a sentiment banner of Basic Black cardstock, heat embossed with Versamark and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

Thankyou for popping in to have a look at my creation – now it’s onto Kelly. Click the ‘Next Blog’ button to continue the hop. ‘Til next time x
