Hello again! Welcome back to another Just Add Ink challenge. This week (#JAI551) we are just adding 3D – make anything that’s three-dimensional, whether it be a box, folding card, bag or decor! I’ve chosen to make a folding box card. I can’t remember the last time I made one…I’m sure it’s been over 2 years!
I started with a card base of Crumb Case, and made my template up based on past measurements. On each side and flap of the box, I cut and embossed individual pieces of Crumb Cake using Subtle Embossing Folder and adhered those. On the back panel, I stamped a pansy and leaves and adhered this to the ‘back’ of the card. A strip of retired white ribbon was coloured with a Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend and tied around the card.
On a panel of Whisper White, I sponged around the edges with Seaside Spray ink using a Blending Brush. I then stamped and diecut multiple pansies and leaves. These were then attached the support panels inside the box card, with strips of Window Sheet acetate.
I heat embossed and fussy a cut a sentiment for the ‘front’ flap of the card, and finished it off with sequins and more diecut pansies.
Thank you for popping in to have a look at my creation. Don’t forget to pop over to Just Add Ink to take part in #JAI551 too.
‘Til next time x
