Hello again! Welcome back to another Just Add Ink challenge. This week (#JAI455) is a theme challenge – Sympathy. These cards are always difficult to make, but they can be some of the most beautiful creations.

For my card, I used a base of  Smoky Slate. I stamped the card front with a sentiment stamp, using Smoky Slate ink for a tone-on-tone effect. On Whisper White, I stamped the floral image from Lovely Lattice with Smoky Slate ink. Once dry, I coloured it with Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends. This was then fussy cut out.

I segmented the flowers, and raised them on different heights on Stampin’ Dimensionals, on an oval of Vellum. I then finished the card off with Iridescent Sequins and a fussy cut sentiment.

Thank you for popping in to have a look at my creation. Don’t forget to pop over to Just Add Ink to take part in #JAI455 too.

The subtle background stamping is really effective Rachael and I love the soft colour palette you used. A beautiful sympathy card.
