Hello again! I’m popping in today to show you my creation for this week’s Just Add Ink challenge. Challenge #371 is a Just Add Two challenge – Kids, Pets, Patterned Paper.
For my card, I used Pets and Patterned Paper as my inspiration. I also used a card layout by the talented Holly Stene to create it. The stamp set I used was Bella & Friends, and the patterned paper was Coffee Break Designer Series Paper.
Starting with a card base of Soft Suede, I flicked ink over it using a marker. The Coffee Break DSP and a piece of vellum were glued on the card front. I stamped an image from Bella and Friends onto Watercolor Paper using Archival Black ink, and coloured it using an Aqua Painter and Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz, Sahara Sand, Flirty Flamingo and Soft Sky inks.
Using Soft Sky cardstock, I made a banner to finish the front of the card, and stamped a sentiment using Soft Suede ink. The inside of the card was flicked with ink from a marker, and a few loops of Linen Thread were stuck in place with a Glue Dot, then a banner of Soft Sky cardstock stamped with a sentiment, was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The card was finished off with a bow of Linen Thread around the front.
Thank you for popping in to have a look at my creation – head to Just Add Ink to take part in challenge #371 too. ‘Til next time x

August 7, 2017 at 9:34 AM (2 years ago)Stunning Card Rachael, I adore the soft look you achieved by adding the vellum over the DSP. Love this layout and your colouring of Bella is just beautiful. The small but significantly stunning details you have added to both the inside of the card and envelope are simply the sweetest! Love your photography skills, your photo’s always look amazing!
