Hello again! I’m back with another challenge blog creation. This time, I’m taking part in Just Add Ink Challenge #361 – ‘Just Choose Two’. For this challenge, you can choose two of three items to use on your creation – flowers, washi, or watercolour. I chose to do flowers and watercolouring :)
For my card, I used a base of Berry Burst, a 2017-2019 In Color. On a piece of Watercolor Paper, I did a quick ombre wash, using Berry Burst ink and an Aqua Painter. On Shimmer White card, I stamped the flower image from You’ve Got This, using Basic Black Archival ink. The flower was then watercoloured with Berry Burst and Old Olive inks. Once dry, I fussy cut it out, separating the leaves from the flower and stem.
On a banner of Basic Black card, I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment using Lift Me Up. This was stuck to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals, over a strip of Burlap Trim.
I finished the card off with rhinestones.
Thanks for popping in to have a look at my creation – why don’t you try this challenge too? ‘Til next time x
This is gorgeous Rachel! Your ombrรฉ background is so beautifully vibrant and I love the way you’ve separated the flower from its leaves to accent separately. It gives such a fabulous feel ing of movement. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.

This is such a pretty colour. I really love they way you have shaded the water colour back ground, it’s very effective. Chantell Just Add Ink.
