Hello again! Welcome back to my blog, for a look at the cards we made in this fortnight’s Bundle-Of-The-Month class, using Balloon Celebration, and the matching Balloon Bouquet punch.
For the first card we used a card base of thick Whisper White cardstock. The card front was stamped randomly with Memento Ink using the outline balloons. On a small piece of Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight and Real Red cardstock, we stamped the sprinkle stamps, and punched them out using the punch.
A small strip of Basic Black cardstock, stamped with Versamark, and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, was adhered over a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper. A few silver sequins and Basic Rhinestones finished the card off.

For the second card, I decided to CASE one my most favourite designs I’ve seen Stampin’ Up! do with this bundle – here is the original design :)
We used a card base of thick Whisper White cardstock, and stamped the card front randomly with the 2 solid balloon stamps, using Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, and Blushing Bride ink. You can achieve different gradients of colour by stamping a few times before re-inking the stamp. A strip of DSP from the Go Wild DSP Paper Stack was glued down on the open side of the card.
On the opposite edge of the card front, we stamped the sentiment vertically, using Memento ink. Extra balloons were also stamped on Whisper White using Blushing Bride ink, and punched out using the punch. These balloons were then adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals. A few rhinestones finished off the card.

For the last card, we used a card base of Night Of Navy. On a piece of Watercolor Paper, the Happy Birthday sentiment from ‘Happy Birthday, Everyone’ was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. A light watercolour wash of Night Of Navy ink was washed over the sentiment and allowed to dry. We then used the Piercing Tool and Stampin’ Pierce Mat, as well as the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack, to add some basic piercing to the edge of the card front.
A sprinkling of stars, heat embossed with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder, were added to the card front, as well as a single balloon stamped with Night Of Navy on Whisper White cardstock. The balloon was lightly sponged with Night Of Navy ink, and the string was hand drawn using a Night Of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker. The card was finished off with sequins and Basic Rhinestones.
