138728O1Hello again! I’m just popping in with this fortnights card class creations, in which we made 3 cards, using the Wild About Flowers stamp set in the 2016-2017 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. This set is so lovely, because of the sweet floral images, and the nice sentiments.

inbetween lineFor our first card, we used a card base of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock, and stamped it repeatedly with one of the flower images, using Sweet Sugarplum ink. We inked and stamped off once before stamping on the card base, so it was a more subtle shade. On a piece of Whisper White card, we stamped a flower and stem image, using Sweet Sugarplum and Pear Pizzazz ink, this time stamping off twice, so it was a very subtle shade.

IMG_1244A sentiment was then stamped on above this floral image, using Rich Razzleberry ink. The whole piece was then cut out using Stitched Shapes Framelits – which are available for purchase now, and will be featured in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue.

A piece of Burlap Ribbon and *retired* Sweet Sugarplum Glitter Ribbon (from the 2016 Holiday Catalogue) was then stuck to the card front, and the diecut Whisper White label was stuck to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The card was finished off with sequins and rhinestones. Here it is:

It was then flicked with ink using a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker. We embossed a piece of Pool Party cardstock using the Softly Falling embossing folder, and glued this to the card base.

IMG_1246A piece of Whisper White cardstock was stamped with a floral image using Pool Party and Crumb Cake ink, and cut out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. A few loops of Linen Thread were held in place on the card with Glue Dots, as well as a strip of Burlap Trim; and the stamped label was stuck ontop using Dimensionals. Some Subtles Enamel Shapes finished off the card. Here it is:

IMG_1245inbetween lineFor the final card, we used a card base of thick Whisper White card. The card front was layered with another slightly smaller piece of thin Whisper White card. Using the Stitched Shapes Framelits, we cut out two of the largest square, using Old Olive and Whisper White card.

IMG_1248The Whisper White square was stamped with floral images, using Watermelon Wonder and Old Olive ink. The Old Olive square was glued to the card front. On a banner of Watermelon Wonder card, we stamped and heat embossed a sentiment; using Versamark and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. This was then glued above the Old Olive square; a few loops of Silver Metallic Twine were held in place on this with Glue Dots; and the stamped Whisper White square was stuck above this with Dimensionals.

The card was finished off with sequins and rhinestones. Here it is:
