Hello Again!

I’m back with a lovely new card that I recently created as part of an Inkypinks team sketch challenge. This card was such fun to make, because let’s face it, who DOESN’T love making wedding cards?! :)

This was the sketch design we were met with, and I instantly knew I wanted to use Glimmer Paper for the strips down the side.

Starting with Whisper White cardstock, I went with a top folding card. I cut two small strips of Champagne Glimmer Paper for the edges of the card and adhered with Sticky Dots. Using Bouquet Toss as my stamp set of choice, I stamped the images using Versamark, on a smaller piece of Whisper White. I then embossed using Gold Embossing Powder. The label was also embossed with Gold Embossing Powder, and punched out using a 1-3/4″ circle punch.

For the banners, I cut a strip of Champagne Glimmer Paper, a strip of Vellum, and a strip of Whisper White, and used the Hexagon punch to create a banner edge on the bottom of the strips.  I also used a large pearl from the Basic Pearls assortment.

The inside of card was also stamped with Versamark, and the image was Gold embossed as well.

The left hand corners of the envelope were also Gold embossed, to carry on the ‘luxury’ theme.

The end result! I’m very happy with how it turned out, and I love how it came together quite easily for me. I hope you’ve been inspired, and please feel free to CASE this design – but please remember to mention where you found the inspiration ;)
