Pool Party & Silver. I am so in love with this colour combo this Christmas! The All Is Calm Designer Series Paper, Letterpress Winter photopolymer stamp set, Star Framelits, and Bright & Beautiful stamp sets this holiday catalogue – they are all such beautifully co-ordinating products, and fit the Pool Party & Silver theme so well.

Using Pool Party as my base cardstock, I made a mini Christmas cracker and a 3″ x 3″ table placecard. After cutting a 3″ x 6″ piece of cardstock for the placecard, I matted a 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ piece of All Is Calm DSP, then stamped the Seasons Greetings from the Letterpress Winter stamp set, onto a 2-1/8″ x 2-1/8″ piece of Whisper White cardstock, using the Silver Encore Ink. I then finished it off with a simple knot of 1/8″ Silver Ribbon.

The christmas cracker was made using my Simply Scored board and Envelope Punch Board. The original design for these crackers comes from The Crafty Owl UK, but I reduced the sizings down to a 5-1/2″ x 7″ piece of Pool Party cardstock. I cut a belly band of All Is Calm DSP, at 2″ x 5-3/8″, and wrapped it around the completed cracker, securing it with Sticky Strip.

I then stamped a snowflake from the Letterpress Winter stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock, using Silver Encore Ink. You can use the 2″ circle punch to cut the snowflake out, but I ‘fussy cut’ around it instead. Then I stamped the ‘For You’ stamp in Pool Party ink onto Whisper White cardstock, and punched it out using the 1-1/4″ circle punch. I raised the snowflake up from the cracker with a Stampin’ Dimensional, and also raised the ‘For You’ label up with a Stampin’ Dimensional as well. I finished the cracker off with 1/8″ Silver Ribbon and a couple of Basic Rhinestone Jewels.

For the hanging star decoration, I cut the 5th (the largest) and 3rd star from Silver Glimmer Paper, and stamped with the Bright & Beautiful stamp set, onto Whisper White cardstock with Pool Party ink, for the 4th and 2nd stars. I then cut them out using the Star framelits in the Big Shot; scored each star from point to point, then folded the stars until they became 3D. I used Sticky Strip to adhere them all, and punched two holes in the top of the star, then threaded Whisper White Baker’s Twine through the holes and knotted.

For this Star Box christmas tree table decoration, I made various sized star boxes, using the tutorial from Stampin’ Up! as a starting guide. I then stacked them, and tied them all together with Whisper White Seam Binding ribbon. I cut the ‘Noel’ from the Silver Glimmer Paper – the ‘Noel’ Thinlit comes from the Wonderful Wreath framelits set – and adhered it to the decoration, using a couple of glue dots. Being the person I am (who loves bling!), I couldn’t go past Basic Rhinestone Jewels to finish it off!
