Hello and welcome to another ESAD Blog Hop! Today, myself and 21 other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand are showcasing projects from the 2020 Mini catalogue, and the 2020 SaleABration catalogue. You may have arrived here from the lovely Denise Buetler‘s blog, or you may have started here. Let’s get hopping! :)
Today I’ve decided to showcase the Timeless Tropical bundle, Coastal Weave embossing folder, and Tropical Oasis DSP. With the purchase of the Timeless Tropical bundle, I earned a free Happy Birthday To You stamp set from Sale-A-Bration, which I’ve incorporated into my creation.
On Pretty Peacock card base, I adhered a card front of Pretty Peacock card that had been embossed with the Coastal Weave folder. I then glued a layer of Tropical Oasis DSP, and Vellum on top of that.
On Whisper White card, I stamped the cake image from Happy Birthday To You. Now, because I wanted to use the outline of the cake and not the flowers, I used a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to colour in parts of the stamp.
After this, I coloured the cake pedestal with Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends. I then fussy cut flowers from Tropical Oasis DSP, and cut leaves from Old Olive and Pretty Peacock card using the In The Tropics dies.
To finish the card off, I applied a wash of Wink Of Stella to the DSP flowers, fussy cut a heat embossed sentiment, and used Woven Threads sequins.
I also made coordinating notebooks in the same theme, using the Tropical Oasis DSP, and Timeless Tropical bundle.
Here’s the finished projects together, ready for gifting!
Next on the blog hop is the very clever Bronwyn Eastley – I can’t wait to see what amazing projects she has come up with for you all! Click the Next Blog button below to continue the hop.
