Hello again! A new year brings a new catalogue, and what a catalogue we have! I am loving just about everything in the 2019 Occasion catalogue, and the SAB catalogue is packed with some great freebies this year too.
To start of 2019 with a creative bang, I am teaming up with 21 other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from the ESAD Facebook group, to provide some inspiration and ideas to get you started.
My chosen product was Birthday Statements, I love a good floral statement image, and this one jumped out at me as soon as I saw it. The colouring options are endless too.
I used a card base of Crumb Cake, which I layered with another piece of Crumb Cake card; that had been embossed with the Lace Dynamic Embossing Folder. On Whisper White, I stamped the Birthday floral image with Basic Gray ink, and let it set for a few minutes before colouring with Stampin’ Blends.
I used the following Blends:
Balloons – Daffodil Delight light & dark combo, Pumpkin Pie light
Flowers – Flirty Flamingo light & dark combo, Crumb Cake light & dark combo
Banner – Highland Heather light & dark combo
Leaves – Granny Apple Green light & dark combo
Surrounds/Shadowing – Balmy Blue light
I finished off the card with Iridescent Sequins, Whisper White Dotted Ribbon, and a sentiment label of Basic Gray stamped and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
To accompany the card, I also decorated a Polka Dot Pillow Box with matching fussy cut flowers, Whisper White Dotted Ribbon, Silver Metallic Thread, Flirty Flamingo sheer ribbon and Iridescent Sequins.
Together, they are quite a cute set :)
