inbetween lineimg_1031I only had a spare hour to work on my projects (thanks to my full-time job and my darling children!), so I made a card, post-it note pocketbook, and a coffee treat cup. The card was inspired by Valerie Moody. I used a card base of thick Whisper White card, which was stamped on the front with the brushstroke image from Work Of Art in the Annual Catalogue, using Pool Party ink. On a piece of Watermelon Wonder cardstock, I stamped the largest balloon image from Lift Me Up, using Watermelon Wonder ink, and gave it a wash of Wink Of Stella. Once dry, I ran it through the Big Shot using the co-ordinating Up & Away Framelits. I also cut clouds from Whisper White card using the various cloud Framelits.

img_1008The card was finished off with a sentiment stamped with Basic Black Archival ink, and a few black sequins which I found at Spotlight. Here’s the finished card:

The front of the pocketbook was decorated with Carried Away Designer Series Paper – my Sale-A-Bration freebie. I also stamped and cut balloons and clouds and adhered these to the front. A banner of Night Of Navy card was stamped with a sentiment using White Craft ink. A few sequins from the Sprinkles Embellishments finished it off. Here’s the finished pocketbook:

For the coffee treat cup, I cut a coffee cup wrap using the Carried Away Designer Series Paper. I have used this technique on a previous project by unwrapping the outer layer of a takeaway coffee cup, and using that as a template.

I made a belly band for the cup using Smoky Slate cardstock, and stamped the band with the cloud images using Smoky Slate ink. I then stamped and cut the smallest balloon image and some clouds. On a small banner of Night Of Navy card, I stamped a sentiment using Whisper White Craft ink. Using my bone folder, I gave the clouds and balloon some curvature, before adhering the to the cup using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
