Hello again! It’s September again, which means a new Holiday Catalogue has just launched – yay! I won’t lie – I *almost* bought the whole catalogue because I loved absolutely everything about it!! Today, I’m teaming up with 31 other Australian and NZ demonstrators from the ESAD Facebook group, to provide you with a heap of new creative ideas for the 2017 Holiday Catalogue. You’ve most likely arrived here from Angela‘s blog (how awesome were her creations?), or you’ve possibly started here. Either way, you can continue the hop by clicking the ‘Next Blog’ button or participant list at the bottom of this post :)
My chosen product of choice was the Feeling Of Christmas stamp set. To show the versatility of the set, I created 3 cards – one quick stamped Xmas card, one slightly more technical Xmas card, and one sweet watercoloured birthday card.
The quick stamp Xmas card, used the brushstroke wreath image, stamped in Old Olive, then again in Garden Green. Berries were stamped in Real Red. A sentiment was stamped and heat embossed on Smoky Slate card to match the card base.
For the second Xmas card, I wet down Watercolor Paper with an Aqua Painter, and stamped the brushstroke wreath image with Old Olive. This left a lovely bleeding ink effect as it dried. Once dried, I stamped the outline wreath image with Archival Black. A Blender Pen and Real Red ink was used to colour in the berries of the wreath. I also stamped the outline wreath on Real Red card and fussy cut the bow out. A banner of Whisper White was stamped with a sentiment using Archival Black.
For the birthday card, I stamped and heat embossed the outline wreath image on Watercolor Paper with Versamark and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. This was then coloured in with Pear Pizzazz, Powder Pink, and Berry Burst inks; using a Blender Pen. A banner of Powder Pink card was stamped and heat embossed with a sentiment, to match the card base.
Thanks for popping in to have a look at my creations – now it’s onto the very talented Kim!
