Hello again! Welcome to another ESAD Blog Hop. This time, myself and 26 other demonstrators from Australia and NZ have decided to showcase our favourite products from the 2016 Holiday Catalogue. Don’t forget the Holiday Catalogue ends 3rd January, so this is a great opportunity to get some last minute creative ideas.
You may have landed here from the amazing Amity Knight (love her projects!), or started here to begin with. You can follow the blog hop by clicking the next button down the bottom of my post; or by clicking on anyone’s name on the ESAD hop list. Here we go! :)
For my projects, I made a card, and a gift bag.
For the card, I started with a card base of Night Of Navy cardstock, which I stamped all over with the Santa image from Jolly Friends, using Whisper White Craft ink.ย On a piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the Santa image with Memento ink, and used my Blender pens with Soft Sky, Sahara Sand, and Blushing Bride ink to give Santa some colour. I also stamped a hat with Night Of Navy ink and Soft Sky, and punched it out using the co-ordinating Jolly Hat Builder punch. On the top of the hat, I attached a Silver Bell.
A banner of Soft Sky was stamped with a sentiment from Cookie Cutter Christmas, using Night Of Navy ink. A strip of Silver Glimmer Paper was glued underneath the Whisper White piece with Santa on it, then a strip of DSP from the Irresistibly Floral DSP was sponged with Soft Sky ink, and glued underneath the glimmer paper.
The card was finished off with sequins and rhinestones. Here it is:
For the treat bag, I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, and made a large bag using my tutorial from YouTube. I stamped it with the Santa image, using Whisper White craft ink again. I made a tag with Santa, the same as the card. A sponged strip of Irresistibly Floral DSP, and a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper were stapled to the bag with the Santa image, and the bag with filled with chocolates. Here’s the finished bag:
