Hello everyone! It’s blog hop time, and I’m thrilled to be involved in another ESAD Blog Hop! This blog hop is for the awesome 2015 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogues that were released on 6th January.
I was having a little trouble trying to come up with some projects to share…until I had a good look at the Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper, and fell in love with it! The colour scheme seems a little plain, but the elegant printed designs more than make up for it. This really is one of my most favourite paper packs this year :)
PROJECT ONE
For the first project, I made a simplistic, but elegant wedding card. Using the For The New Two clear mount stamp set, I stamped the small bouquet stamp repeatedly over a piece of Whisper White card. I then matted that over a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock.
The Mr&Mrs stamp was stamped with Sahara Sand ink onto Whisper White card, and matted on Sahara Sand cardstock. I also used some Basic Pearls, and a strip of Sahara Sand Lace Trim, to add elegance.
PROJECT TWO
The next project was a folding giftbag, using Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper. I used the measurements provided by Papercraft Button on YouTube, and added two handles with matching Sahara Sand cardstock.
I used the Tag Topper Punch to create a gift tag, and heat-embossed the stamped images from For The New Two, onto Sahara Sand cardstock, with White embossing powder. I added a length of Sahara Sand Lace Trim and Whisper White Seam Binding ribbon for some softeness, and a Something Borrowed embellishment for old-world sparkle ;)
PROJECT THREE
For the third project, I decided to make a gift card holder. These are relatively easy to make. Inside the gift card holder is a pouch to hold the gift card, and I have heat-embossed the sentiment on the punch, using White embossing powder. The gift card holder was then finished off with Whisper White Seam Binding Ribbon.
PROJECT FOUR
The last project I made was a wine bottle gift tag. This was heat-embossed again with White embossing powder, and the back of the tag was stamped with Sahara Sand ink onto Whisper White. The tag was finished off with a scattering of Basic Pearls.
