Hello everyone, welcome to another ESAD Blog Hop – glad you could join us! This blog hop is for the new Holiday Catalogue, and you’ve most likely jumped onto my blog, from the talented Carly! You’ll find the ‘Next Blog’ button down the bottom of this post; just keep clicking on those buttons on each blog, to move ahead with the hop :)
I decided to make a shaker card, Mini Treat Bag, and wine bottle gift tag for my blog hop projects. These all used Winter Wonderland Designer Series Paper (DSP). It’s such a gorgeous paper that exudes glamour and luxury. Exude – love that word. Sounds fancy ;)
The card was a card base of Basic Black, with a piece of Winter Wonderland DSP glued on the front. Using a small piece of Whisper White cardstock, I cut a circle using the 1-7/8″ Framelit from the Circles Collection Framelits. A piece of Window Sheet was adhered on the underside of this using Fast Fuse.
A ring of Stampin’ Dimensionals (use the border edging for less wastage) was then placed around edge of the cutout, on the Window Sheet side. Some leftover sequins from the To You & Yours Shaker Card Kit (you could use the Metallic Sequins Assortment in the Annual Catalogue instead) were then placed in the center. A piece of Whisper White card then sealed this shaker frame up.
The shaker compartment was then adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The word ‘Joy’ was diecut from Gold Foil Sheet, using Wonderful Wreath Framelits. This was then adhered, and a strand of Gold Cord was tied in a bow to finish the card off.
For the treat bag, I cut 1 large and 1 small bag piece from Winter Wonderland DSP, using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits dies. A co-ordinating banner was also cut. A strip of Gold Foil was diecut with the star banner Thinlit, a strip of White Glitter Ribbon, and a few loops of Gold Cord finished the bag off, secured nicely with a Reindeer Paperclip.
The sentiment was from Reason For The Season, and heat embossed using Versamark and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
The wine bottle gift tag was a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock, cut at 7cm width. It was scored at 7cm longways, and punched on the end with a 1-1/4″ Circle punch, for the bottle opening.
The tree was stamped with Memento (my go-to black!), using Lovely As A Tree. The sentiment, also from Reason For The Season; was heat embossed on Basic Black cardstock using Versamark and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. A small banner of Winter Wonderland DSP was layered underneath at an angle. A few loops of Gold Thread were adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue; as were a few gold star sequins. The sentiment label then stuck down on the tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals, over the loops of Gold Thread.
Thank you for joining us on this hop – now it’s onto Narelle and her fab creations! ‘Til next time x
