I started with a card base of Night Of Navy, which I stamped randomly with a lighthouse image using Night Of Navy ink. On a card front of Basic White, I stamped the lighthouse image again with Night Of Navy ink, and used Blending Brushes to blend Pool Party and Night Of Navy ink together in an ombre gradient. I then flicked water over the sponging to add a slight bokeh effect to the gradient.

Once dry, the sponged piece was mounted on a slightly larger mat of Basic White cardstock. This was then mounted to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then stamped and heat embossed a sentiment on Real Red cardstock with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, then layered this over a strip of Pool Party cardstock that had been lightly stamped with a flying bird image using Pool Party ink.

Thank you for popping in to have a look at my creation. Don’t forget to pop over to Colour INKspiration to take part in #CI106 too.
