Hello again! I’m popping in today to show you my creation for this week’s CASEing The Catty Sunday Challenge #CTC135 – pages 112-125 from the 2017-18 Annual Catalogue.

19554085_10155390828582158_3512488713440320100_nFor my creation, I CASEd the box design from the top-left image of page 114. I used a card base of Garden Green, and my neutral cardstock was Very Vanilla. This was stamped all over with a sentiment stamp from Star Of light, using Sahara Sand ink. For a fainter look, I stamped off once onto grid paper before stamping onto the Very Vanilla.

IMG_1841Using Lovely As A Tree and Garden Green ink, I stamped a tree off the edge of the Very Vanilla, to resemble pine boughs. The edges of the card front were then sponged with Sahara Sand ink for a vintage look.

As I haven’t bought the Laurel Wreath Embellishments yet, I created my own wreath using a circle of Garden Green cardstock, cut individual leaves using the smallest leaf die from Swirly Scribbles, and glued the leaves on. A little time consuming, but I was happy with the end result. A strip of retired Burlap Trim was stuck to the card front, then a few loops of Linen Thread, then the wreath. Over the wreath, I adhered a banner of Crumb Cake cardstock; which I had stamped with a sentiment, using Garden Green ink.

IMG_1835The inside of the card was a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, sponged around the edges with Sahara Sand ink, and stamped with a sentiment using Garden Green ink.
