Hello again! Just popping in to show you what we made in card class this fortnight, using the exclusive Thoughtful Branches stamp set (available 2-31 August only – don’t miss out, get it now!) and Framelit bundle.

144328Ginbetween lineThis class was a variation of my ‘1 Stamp, 3 Ways’ class – this time it was a ‘1 Bundle, 3 Ways’ class. We made 3 cards using this bundle. A birthday, a sympathy, and a Xmas card.

The first card was the sympathy card. For this card we used a card base of Crumb Cake cardstock, and heat embossed a sentiment using Versamark and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
20160814_164320Two hydrangea flowers were cut from Marina Mist cardstock using the Framelits; and sponged around the edges with Perfect Plum ink. The two layers were then scrunched slightly, to add some depth. A scattering of Basic Pearls finished the flower.
20160814_164334The leaf stem was cut from Wild Wasabi cardstock; and a strand of Linen Thread was tied in a bow around the stem. Here is the finished card:

Using a card base of Sahara Sand cardstock, we layered a piece of Watercolor Paper on the front, which had been washed with an Aqua Painter and Tempting Turquoise ink.

A tree trunk was cut from Soft Suede cardstock, and the leaves were stamped with Melon Mambo ink onto Pink Pirouette cardstock; then cut with the matching Framelit. The tree trunk was then glued down on the Watercolor Paper, and the tree leaves were stuck down with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
20160814_164624On a small banner of Whisper White cardstock, a ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment was stamped with Melon Mambo ink. I used an old retired stamp set called Morning Meadow, but you could use any current set, such as Confetti Celebration, Happy Happenings, Thoughtful Banners, or Teeny Tiny Sentiments. The banner was then stuck down on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals; over a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper.
20160814_164614We then finished off the card with sequins and Rhinestones. Here it is:
20160814_164546inbetween lineFor the last card, we created a Xmas card using a card base of Pool Party cardstock. On a card front of Whisper White cardstock, we stamped 3 trees with Old Olive and Soft Suede ink.

This was then adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A banner of Whisper White was layered on top (at the base of the trees), and the word ‘Merry’ was cut from Silver Glimmer Paper using the Christmas Greetings Thinlits; and glued onto the banner.
20160814_164750A bird was stamped with Real Red ink, and cut using matching Framelit. The bird was then stuck down with half a Stampin’ Dimensional.
20160814_164757Sequins & Basic Rhinestones finished off the card. Here it is:
