I’ve been very busy over the last 2 days, making lots of gorgeous project samples for my 2015 Occasions & SAB catalogue launch on Tuesday 6th January (Click HERE for more info about the launch, or HERE for some catalogues to be posted to you!). And what fun I’ve had. Would you like to see what I’ve been busy making so far? :)
This card is made using the new Chalkboard paper, Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper and Big Day Sale-A-Bration stamp set; as well as the Gold Sequin trim and Metallic Clothespins in our Annual Catalogue.
A closer look…I’m loving this stamp set already!
And another one using Big Day – this time stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and coloured with Blendabilities®. I’ve also used the new Calypso Coral pompom trim; the Best Year Ever buttons from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue; and the Lucky Stars embossing folder.
And a closer look :)
This card is made using the Painted Petals stamp set, which will be available in wood-mount, clear-mount, and photopolymer. Now, I purchased the clear-mount, and to be honest, it really was quite difficult to line up perfectly, even with a Stamp-a-majig! So I recommend the photopolymer version of this stamp set, to assist in lining up the stamps easily.
This card is actually cased off a design from the Occasions catalogue, just altered slightly. I used the Spring Flowers embossing folder to emboss a piece of Whisper White cardstock, then I ‘patted’ my Daffodil Delight ink pad lightly over the raised embossed side, to give a lovely worn, vintage look. I also finished it off with a Gold Metallic button and Whisper White baker’s twine.
I couldn’t forget the inside of the card, could I?
Well, I had better get back to creating – see you soon! ;)
