2016-17 Annual Catalogue Blog Hop HeaderHello again! Well, we are now two weeks into the new 2016 Annual Catalogue, and what a ripper it is! So many beautiful stamps, gorgeous papers – and don’t even get me started on the 2016-2018 In Color® family! <3

A new catalogue means another ESAD Blog Hop, and myself and 16 other demonstrators from Australia & NZ, have put together a blog hop of inspiration just for you.

ESAD Info AC 16You may have started here, or you may have just arrived from the talented Libby Dyson. Either way, let’s keep hopping! :)

inbetween lineFor my projects, I wanted to showcase the gorgeous Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper and co-ordinating Washi Tape. I didn’t purchase any stamp sets during the Demo Pre-order period (I was saving my money and Flex Points for the awesome bundles once the catalogue went live!), so I used an existing favourite set of mine, Birthday Blooms.

inbetween lineFor the first project, I covered some mini clothes pegs with the washi tape, and some magnetic tape on the backs. A simple tag of Crumb Cake cardstock was stamped with Versamark for a watermarked effect. Some flowers were also punched from Night Of Navy cardstock, using the flower punch from Itty Bitty Accents punch pack; and adhered to the tag with a Basic Pearl in the center.

inbetween lineFor the second project, I made a birthday card using Crumb Cake cardstock for the base. A layer of DSP was matted on some Night Of Navy cardstock, and adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Some leaves were cut from Cucumber Crush using the Flower Fair Framelits, and fussy cut slightly. Flowers were cut from Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron and Night Of Navy cardstock, using the Botanical Builders Framelits. A banner of Crumb Cake stamped with Night Of Navy ink; finishing off the card.

inbetween lineFor the last project, I made a coffee cup wrap using the DSP. You can create your own wrap by unravelling the wrap of a takeaway coffee cup, and tracing the shape onto some thick cardboard for a template. I used the cardboard backing from a Glimmer Paper cardstock pack ;)

Using Botanical Builder Framelits, I cut flowers and leaf stems using Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder, and Flirty Flamingo. A belly band of Night Of Navy carstock was wrapped around the coffee cup, and a banner of Crumb Cake cardstock stamped with Versamark, and a banner of Night Of Navy stamped and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder; finished off the cup.

Great ideas Rachael. You could also put some yummy lollies in the coffee cup for people that would not want to use the cup – such a pretty cup!
