It’s ESAD blog hop time again! This time, we are showcasing a sneak peek of products from the upcoming 2015/2016 Annual Catalogue, launching on 2nd June :)
What is ESAD?
ESAD stands for “Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators” and is a Facebook group just for Australian and New Zealand Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. We love what we do & love to share with our customers, friends and blog visitors. We also share what we love in our ESAD Demonstrator community, through swaps, challenges, sharing knowledge, ideas & friendship, and we’re always there to help and support each other.
So if you are a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please feel free to leave me a comment with your email address and I’ll contact you with information on how to join our group.
I have decided to show the lovely new Cotton Paper Assortment, in a few different ways. It’s such a versatile paper; delicate but stronger than tissue paper. It comes in four gorgeous colours – Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush, Daffodil Delight and Watermelon Wonder.
The first project I made was a card, semi-cased from a design on page 5 of the Annual Catalogue. It involved cutting fringing from the Cotton Paper, using the Fringe Scissors; and layering on a base of Whisper White cardstock. The sentiment was from the Build-A-Birthday stamp set, and it was stamped with Watermelon Wonder ink.
The second project was some lovely flowers, made using the Bouquet Flowers Bigz Die. Each flower consisted of 3 layers – the bottom layer was 5 petals, the middle layer was 4 petals, and the top layer was 3 petals. I cut the stamen circles from the Daffodil Delight Cotton Paper, and scrunched 3 of them together in the center.
For the last project, I made a rosette using a 4-1/2″x10″ piece of Bermuda Bay Cotton Paper. This was then scored every 1/2″ on my Simply Scored board. I then folded it like an accordian, and tied some Whisper White baker’s twine around the centre.
I then ‘fanned’ out the rosette, and hot glued it together. The sentiment on the rosette is from the Friendly Wishes stamp set, and it was coloured with the Bermuda Bay and Watermelon Wonder Stampin’ Write markers. The bag I used was a Petite Cafe bag, and I also used Bermuda Bay sequin trim and Watermelon Wonder lace ribbon to finish it off.
And that’s my projects! I hope you’ve been inspired, and now it’s off to Andrea’s blog! :)
